LOUD Technologies Announces a Distribution Agreement with Raw Materials Software

October 10, 2003 – AES Convention, New York –LOUD Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: LTEC), today announced that they have signed a letter of intent to enter into a distribution agreement with UK-based Raw Materials Software – Makers of Tracktion, a radical new audio/midi workstation that uses an elegant and powerful single-screen interface to provide access to functions that require multiple screens in most current workstation software.

Under the terms of this new agreement, LOUD Technologies will assume worldwide distribution of Tracktion software as well as bundle Tracktion with key Mackie branded products.

The first Mackie product to make use of Tracktion is the recently announced Spike Powered Recording system, a 24-bit, 96k music production system that includes all of the hardware and software necessary to track, mix and record music on a Mac or PC including Mackie’s new XD-2 USB 24-bit Audio/MIDI interface.

Berger continued, "By incorporating Tracktion into key Mackie products like Spike, we’ll be addressing a portion of the market that is often overlooked–those musicians just breaking in to digital recording, or those that are simply looking to spend their valuable time creating music rather than learning elaborate programs."
