LOUD Technologies Announces Appointment of New Chief Operating Officer
WOODINVILLE, Washington – July 30, 2008 -- LOUD Technologies Inc. (LOUD) (NASDAQ:LTEC) a leading professional audio and music products company, announced on July 25, 2008, the appointment of James Stewart as its Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Stewart will be responsible for the core operations of the company including Information Technologies, Technical Support, Service and Logistics as well as management of LOUD’s manufacturing partners. Mr. Stewart joins LOUD with more than 28 years of experience in the technology industry, with an extensive background as a senior business leader in Technology Product Development and P&L Operations Management.

Prior to joining LOUD, Mr. Stewart served as Vice President and General Manager at Hewlett-Packard’s Specialty Printing unit, where he held responsibility for the overall business and was successful in growing both the revenue and profit during his tenure.
